 I get a lot of help n this forum, so just figured I'd share some of the wealth. 
 Ive gotten a lot of PMs asking for a template for Shuttle Pro and AutoMap. So, figured id share that with you guys here on the forum... 
 I use a Novation SL mkii. Not sure if these settings will work for an impulse or an SL mki, but probably worth a shot if u dont already have a map u like for em. 
 Shuttle pro: 
 Loop Mix (take off note repeat) // Nudge bar left // nudge bar right // note repeat 
 snap // delete // click track // repeat (duplicate) // quantize 
 delete track  add track 
 save // zoom to loop 
 follow // set loop points 
 Jog wheel - zoom in and out 
 Shuttle - navigate up and down (great for jumping between instruments) 
 For it to work, ull probably have to download my modified S1 keystroke map.

 PS.... with these controllers, plus a faderport.... i dont touch the mouse very much anymore lol. 
 Mouse is still quick for certain things when mixing.... but it helps having a button to press to process things while you're selecting stuff.
